How to install

    Download the APK

    Tap the button above. Your browser will ask you to confirm the download — that is normal for an app that does not come from the Play Store.

    Allow installs from your browser

    Android will ask once whether this browser may install apps. Tap Settings, turn the switch on, and come back. You only do this the first time.

    Open the downloaded file

    Tap the file in your notifications, or find it in Downloads. Tap Install.

    Play Protect warning

    Android may say the app was not recognised. That is because Prinsta is distributed from this site rather than the Play Store. Tap "Install anyway" — or "More details" first, if you would rather read the warning.

Questions

Is it safe to install from outside the Play Store?

The APK is served over HTTPS from this domain and is signed with our release key. Android checks that signature on every update, so a later version can only install over this one if it came from us.

Will the app update itself?

Yes. Prinsta checks this site each time it opens and offers you the new version when there is one. You never need to come back here after the first install.

Why does it need permission to install apps?

That permission is what lets Prinsta install its own updates. Without it, every update would mean returning to this page.

Which Android versions are supported?

Android 8.0 and later.

The download failed. What now?

Check you have room on the phone — the app is about 46 MB — and try again on Wi-Fi. If it keeps failing, email us and we will send a direct link.
